GDD team has managed to provide medications and medical supplies to hospitals in the Gaza Strip to alleviate the suffering of those injured in the conflict. However, the healthcare sector faces an enormous need due to the scarcity of medications and fuel in hospitals, which are witnessing a significant number of casualties and injured individuals due to the ongoing conflict in the Gaza Strip for the 19th consecutive day. Many hospitals are exposed to bombing, threats, and forced suspension of services for the wounded.

The healthcare sector is on the verge of a severe humanitarian catastrophe due to the shortage of fuel to operate hospitals in the absence of electricity. Additionally, seven hospitals and fourteen health centers have gone out of service due to continuous bombardment, and many medical supplies have been depleted in health depots, affecting the lives of the injured and patients. Hospitals are operating at 150% bed occupancy, and operating rooms are overwhelmed due to the large volume of daily injuries.
